Almost half a year ago, we announced that 2021 may not bring new devices from Samsung's Galaxy Note series. We did not know, however, whether this was a temporary decision or whether Samsung was serious about canceling this series of devices. Officially, Dongjin Koh, former CEO of the company, spoke on this matter.
Information about Galaxy Note series was presented to Samsung shareholders at the company's annual shareholders' meeting in Suwon. Koh indicated that in fact, 2021 will probably not bring new devices from the Galaxy Note series, but in the long term, the company still wants to develop this series. Decisions for 2021 are to result from problems related to the availability of processors on the market. Demand for almost all processors is gigantic and their stock shortages are considerable, so the company will probably give up releasing devices from this series for a year. We should expect the series to return in 2022.
