We wrote that Samsung patented optical sensor which allows company to measure blood pressure of their users with using of Samsung's devices. For beginning it was said that this feature will be added to Gear S4 smartwatch for beginning, but now Samsung confirmed on official firm’s webpage that this option is ready and it will be added to their newest flagship device - Samsung Galaxy S9.
Apart from checking blood pressure sensor allows to check also your stress level, and Samsung created My BP Lab project in cooperation with University of California. People whose want to join this program will give feedback about their condition by answering some questions about what they did during the day. Then creators of this project will give some information what these people can do to improve their health. My BP Lab will be available in Google Play Store on 15th of March, and for now will be available for users from the United States.
