Initially, smartwatch manufacturers focused on adding basic functions to their devices, such as measuring steps or analysing the user's sleep. Currently, however, most producers are working on implementing functions such as measuring blood pressure or measuring the temperature of the person wearing the watch. One of the companies that is working on the implementation of a thermometer in their equipment is Samsung.
Moreover, possibly already with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, the company will add a thermometer to the watch's functions. This equipment is planned to be presented in August. If these reports prove to be true, it will be a useful feature for detecting the early stages of diseases such as COVID-19, among other things. The thermometer function may also appear in other Samsung devices. It is said that this option can be added to future versions of Galaxy Buds earphones, but so far this option is only being tested in prototypes.
