Before the update, the sensor in the watch was not working properly, but eventually the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro passed the certification process in February and the body temperature measurement function is now available to users.
In addition to the standard ability to measure body temperature, the update also introduces support for menstrual cycle tracking. To use this function, it was also necessary to properly operate the sensor responsible for measuring the temperature, which helps in marking fertile and infertile days. The function went to users from 32 countries. These are: South Korea, United States, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway , Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
