In March this year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy A23 phone in a variant that supports only 4G connectivity. We had to wait until September for the option of this phone that allows to use 5G. One of the reasons for such a difference in the premiere between the two versions of the A23 phone is supposed to be a mysterious problem in the operation of the 5G variant. It was supposed to be large enough to affect the overall operation of the phone, including the operation of the camera application. It turns out that despite fixing this problem, the sale of the Galaxy A23 5G itself is much weaker than initially assumed by the manufacturer.

Initially, Samsung assumed that the company would manage to sell 17.1 million units of the Galaxy A23 4G phone and 12.6 million units of the 5G variant of the Galaxy A23 this year. The latest reports, however, indicate that the manufacturer has reduced its sales plans for the Galaxy A23 5G by as much as 70%, expecting sales of this phone to be less than 4 million units by the end of 2022. In 2023, Samsung plans to deliver about 5 million units of this phone to the market.
