The latest flagship processors from the Exynos series were not very successful projects. Reviewers of flagship devices from Samsung using the Exynos 990 pointed to the much better performance of Qualcomm's processors, and in addition, Exynos were very susceptible to heating. Hopefully the next Exynos processors will be more successful units. Basic information about the upcoming Exynos 1080 will be available soon.
We can already officially confirm that Samsung will present its new proprietary processor on 12th of November. In terms of performance, it should be really solid this time, as the Exynos 1080 scored 181000 points in the AnTuTu test. This result is slightly better than the most powerful processor from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 865+. We aren't sure, however, in which phone Exynos 1080 will appear for the first time. It is said that Vivo can use it in its Vivo X60, but so far this information is not confirmed.
