Shazam is one of the most popular applications for recognizing music from our environment. The application has already gained incredible popularity some time ago, which automatically made the biggest giants on the market interested in buying the application. Ultimately, the application was purchased by Apple. What's important, this purchase caused virtually no changes in the aspect of the application's operation. However, some changes in working of app may come in the near future, as evidenced by the change of the source code of the application.

In the Shazam source code, we can read that when the user wants to log into the application via Facebook, it is possible that a special message will pop up informing that Shazam accounts created via Facebook are not further supported. So far this change hasn't been implemented and it is not really known whether Apple will eventually decide to introduce such a modification. However, the appearance of such a change in the code may indicate that Apple will want to make the application independent of other large companies operating on the market and it may happen in the upcoming months.
