On the market of flagship smartphones operating on the basis of Android, the RAM capacity of 8GB has been a standard for some time. Competitive smartphones created by Apple, using iOS, have so far been equipped with 6GB of RAM. Due to the fact that this system was adapted directly to the operation of a limited number of smartphones and the same company is responsible for the development of both hardware and software, the smooth operation of the phones, despite the smaller amount of RAM, has always been impressive. Apple, however, is ready to make a technological leap in its phones.
The latest press releases indicate that the upcoming 14-series of iPhones can match some of the flagship Android smartphones in terms of RAM memory. Everything indicates that 8GB of RAM will be used in new Apple's phones. For now, however, it should be assumed that this change will apply to the Pro and Pro Max models. The standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will likely continue to run on 6GB of RAM.
