T-Mobile has officially confirmed that it will buy out Ka'ena Corporation. Such a deal has been rumored for some time. Ka'ena Corporation is a virtual operator that includes Mint Mobile and Ultra Mobile, among others. The first of the listed virtual operators gained fame thanks to its owner, the famous actor Ryan Reynolds.

It is worth noting that Ryan Reynolds will continue to be the creative director of Mint Mobile, which means that he will probably still appear in advertisements. T-Mobile's main plan is to expand the business and coverage available to customers within the virtual operators that are part of Ka'ena Corporation. The transaction is valued at 1.35 billion of dollars, with 39% of the amount to be paid in cash and 61% in stock. The final amount and the terms of the transaction will depend on Ka'ena Corporation's performance in the coming months.
