Despite the fact that the network infrastructures of operators all over the world are expanding every year, there are still places where there may be a problem with sending a text message using our phones or making a phone call. In such situations, the connection with special satellites, which is to be delivered to the iPhones 13, is to come in handy.

Information published by Ming Kuo Chi indicates that the upcoming iPhone 13 will receive a Qualcomm X60 module that will support connection with satellites located in low orbit. Initially, it was expected that this would allow the use of the basic functions of the phone on a daily basis, but this feature is rather announced as an emergency option. In this way, Apple wants to provide iPhone users with the possibility of contact in places where there is no coverage of mobile operators. In such situations, connecting to the satellites can even save lives. Thanks to this, users will be able to send an SMS under all conditions, regardless of where they are. For now, however, we do not know exactly when the function will go to iPhones. It is possible that it will reach the iPhone 13 with a significant delay, but it is also possible to present this feature only in the next units of the flagship series of phones from Apple.
