While Microsoft has been busy launching Windows 10, its research team has found a way to turn your phone's main camera into a 3D scanner.
The software is called MobileFusion, it uses your phone's rear camera, RGB capabilities to be more specific. It captures an object from diffrent angles to build its 3D model.
With MobileFusion, no additional hardware is required, and neither is an internet connection. MobileFusion is still in the phase of testing, so maybe we will see an advanced version of the program.
