Twitter users have been complaining for years that the portal cannot edit the messages added so far. Twitter, however, has been thinking about introducing message editing for some time, and has considered various ways in which this feature should be available to users of the portal. Finally, the option to edit tweets will be introduced to the portal, but will only be available by subscription.
The edit button will be available to Twitter Blue subscribers. Its price will be 4.99$ per month and it will give users faster access to new add-ons, an example of which is getting early access to the tweet edit button. After editing the message, under the tweet itself information will appear confirming that this particular message was edited in the past, and the date and time during which the displayed tweet was last edited will be published. This option is entering the final testing phase in one country, which Twitter has not decided to mention in its official announcement.
