Samsung, in cooperation with the Commons Project Foundation, which is a non-profit organization dealing with health protection, has prepared a special feature for its clients who have vaccinated against COVID-19. All Samsung devices that support Samsung Pay will be able to generate an electronic version of the vaccination certificate. Unfortunately, this feature is currently only available to US residents.
To add vaccination information to Samsung Pay, you will first need to download the CommonHealth application from the Google Play Store. Then the user must follow the displayed messages. After going through the entire process, the application will display a special QR code, the scanning of which will display a confirmation of vaccination for COVID-19. The app will then be able to transfer and save that QR code to the Samsung Pay app. This code can be opened by selecting a special option that will be displayed on the Samsung Pay home page.
