By decision of the District Court in Mannheim, Vivo will not be able to sell its products in Germany. This decision is dictated by the expiration of agreements allowing Vivo to use Nokia's patents related to 4G connectivity.

At the moment, both companies have not extended their cooperation, despite earlier negotiations officially mentioned by Vivo. However, it was emphasized that negotiations on this matter are still in progress, but if necessary, Vivo will at least temporarily withdraw its products from the German market. At the same time, however, Vivo announced that it has long-term plans connected with German market and that it is possible to appeal against the verdict. The court's decision will not affect the company's operations in other countries.
