WhatsApp wants to give its users more control over in-app message storage. A few months ago, the company added the option to automatically delete a single message after a specified period of time, and now an extended version of this feature has appeared on WhatsApp. It will allow you to automatically delete the entire conversation after a set time.
The new feature applies to both group and two-user conversations. WhatsApp will allow you to turn on the automatic option to delete a chat after 24 hours, 7 days or after 90 days. After setting it, a special announcement will be displayed in the conversation informing that in the future messages from this conversation will be automatically deleted. To be able to use the new feature, you must enable it in the Settings. This can be done in the Privacy section.
