Chargers delivered to phones nowadays allow you to charge the equipment very quickly. This does not mean, however, that manufacturers are not working on the development of technologies that will allow the battery to be fully charged even faster. The leader in this race is Xiaomi, which has just published its experimental 200W charger.

Xiaomi presented the results of the experiment in which charging was carried out using 200W and 120W chargers. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro phone was used for the experiment, but with one change - instead of the standard 5000mAh battery, it was replaced with a battery which has lower capacity - 4000mAh. Using a 200W charger, the connected phone was able to charge from 0% to 100% of the battery in just 8 minutes. The 120W charger can also boast an amazing result, which fully charged such a phone in just 15 minutes. The results of the experiment look impressive, but we shouldn't expect that 200W chargers will quickly become standard on the market. In the case of this type of charging device generates a lot of heat, which causes a significant increase in the temperature of the phone and the charger, but also charging the phone with a 200W charger will certainly have a significant impact on the rapid consumption of the batteries.
