On a day like April Fools' it's hard to find reliable information on news in the world of technology. Companies outdo each other in publishing information out of thin air, which are only intended to mislead readers. Xiaomi did not enter this trend. In World Intellectual Property Organization, the Chinese company a few hours ago reserved a patent about an innovative telephone.
According to information published by WIPO, Xiaomi patented a phone with a front camera located at the bottom of the screen. Physically, the phone would actually look like an inverted standard phone. Users are already thinking about the disadvantages of this type of phone - one of them would certainly be problem with operating on the phone with gestures. Other photographs on the site indicate that Xiaomi is also considering creating a phone with lenses located on two sides of the screen - one on the left and one on the right. For now, all these projects are limited to patents, and time will tell if the Chinese company will proceed to their implementation.
