Until now, sharing a channel on YouTube was based on sharing its name. However, it made it possible to impersonate large sewers quite easily. In the future, however, this problem should be eliminated thanks to the newly introduced function to YouTube called "Handles".
Handles will be a kind of unique name given to each account. A similar system works, for example, on Facebook or Twitter. Individual channels will be able to set one, specific name distinguishing them throughout the portal. In this way, you will be able to refer to them in the comments, but also share channels directly by entering a new name given via the "Handles" function. The unique name will begin with the "@" prefix in all cases. Handles will be made available both on channels based on standard materials, as well as this change will apply to the Shorts section.
