YouTube is trying to make its Premium paid subscription more attractive. In addition to the standard functions that allow, among other things, to watch recordings offline or skip advertisements while browsing the site, from now on there will be 5 new functions added by the authors of the site.
The first, long-announced change is the ability to queue movies from a phone or tablet. The second is the ability to watch video together with friends by linking the session to a Google Meet meeting. The third novelty is to continue watching recordings on other devices. When we stop watching a video at a specific moment, YouTube will remember when we stopped watching and suggest the continuation from the same place, regardless of whether we browse YouTube on the same device as before. The fourth novelty is called "smart download" because the application will suggest and download recordings in order to access the suggested content even with the lack of a network connection. The last of the presented novelties is the quality of 1080p HD video, which is distinguished by a higher bitrate compared to the standard 1080p quality.
