Many people thought that a cooperation between Apple and Samsung wouldn’t take place, because these two companies are competing in the market. How writes one of publishers on Nikkei webpage, Apple decided to make a deal with South Korean firm, which will help them in making their new iPhone.
How says report, Apple has ordered over 70 million curved OLED 5,2-inch displays made by Samsung, but Samsung is ready to sell even 95 million units of displays if iPhone 8 will be sold in large quantities. However, it is worth recalling that Apple plans to release iPhone 8 in three versions, and screens of Samsung's production will be included only in the premium version of the device, which, according to rumors, can cost even more than $1000. Other two options will be released with 4,7-inch and 5,5-inch displays, and both of them will have normal LCD panels, without curved screens.
