In the second half of 2022, Apple introduced its new proprietary processor created for laptops, which was named M2. At the beginning of this year, it turns out that the company has planned the premiere of the M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, which will be used in two new devices, i.e. the new version of the MacBook Pro and the Mac mini. Compared to their predecessors from the M1 series, the M2 Pro and M2 Max processors offer up to 20% faster CPU operation and 30% increased GPU efficiency.

MacBook Pro will be available in 14-inch and 16-inch models. This laptop will work longer on the battery compared to its predecessor, and the equipment will also support monitors with a resolution of 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 240Hz. The variant with the M2 Pro processor will appear on the market with 16GB/32GB RAM, while the M2 Max will allow you to choose the option with 32GB/64GB/96GB RAM. The cheapest options in terms of internal memory will have 512GB.

Mac mini, on the other hand, will appear in options with the M2 and M2 Pro processor. The computer supports up to 24 GB of RAM. It is worth mentioning that with the premiere of the new Mac mini, Apple gave up producing an equivalent device with an Intel processor.
