The premiere of the new flagships from the Pixel series from Google will probably take place this fall. What is clear, however, Google is already working on the preparation of the smartphone in the final version. We accidentally received the confirmation that Google Pixel 7 Pro is already in the testing phase thanks to one of the auctions available on Facebook. In Facebook Marketplace we had a chance to find a phone described as Google Pixel 6 Pro, which in practice turned out to be a prototype of the upcoming Google Pixel 7 Pro model.
A dozen or so days after the purchase, the new owner of the smartphone began to notice problems in the operation of the device, until finally the new phone was completely blocked and the only available function on the smartphone is currently only the fastboot mode. The new owner of the phone reported that the phone was remotely restored to the factory state, including the removal of his data from the phone, and that he had no way to block this action. As the code name (Cheetah) and the note EVT indicate, this is probably a Pixel 7 Pro prototype. Photos of mentioned prototype have already appeared on the Internet. On their basis, we can reassure ourselves that the upcoming Pixels will not differ significantly from their predecessors in terms of design. The buyer of the prototype reports that the case and protective glass for the screen made for Pixel 6 Pro also match the equipment in question.
