Google has made its call recording policy clear for some time now, gradually reducing access to this option. Since the release of Android 10, this manufacturer has removed the default call recording option from the system. Some producers, however, added this option to their user interfaces, and in addition, there were applications available for download in the Play Store that allowed to record phone calls. However, Google intends to tighten its policy in the aspect of recording calls.
As announced, Google wants to make changes to the Play Store. From 11th of May, the company wants to remove the option to download external applications that allow you to record telephone calls. The only possibility to record calls will be the use of pre-installed applications by the producers themselves, as some companies such as Xiaomi decide on such a solution. Such functions are to remain intact and the changes only apply to third-party applications that are available for download in the Play Store.
