iPhone X was the first phone which had notch located on the top of its display, and later many companies followed them, but idea of notch received mixed opinions. On the Internet some time ago appeared photo of new LG's flagship phone which will be named G7, and it seemed that this smartphone will follow the trends on mobile market, but some hours ago we received other picture which shows G7 without the notch. However, it doesn't mean that LG resigned from using it in their new phone!
LG G7 will have the notch physically on the top of its display, but we will have opportunity to turn it off visually. If all information will be confirmed, then it seems that users will receive special option in Settings, and there system will ask us if we prefer to have screen with notch or without notch. It's nice idea because it may help LG to please more people, but until we won't receive official confirmation of this rumor we should wait with compliments.
