As most of you probably know, Huawei has been on the hook of US Department of Commerce for several months, which forbade US companies to enter into any contracts with a Chinese manufacturer because of the possible transfer of US customer data to the Chinese government. It seems that the American government is slowly coming to the conclusion that such severe sanctions were a mistake, because in the last hours Microsoft's request for official cooperation with Huawei was approved.
As Microsoft officially announced, on 20th of November the US government issued permission to enter into cooperation with Huawei, which allows Huawei to mass export of software. This decision will probably allow Huawei to use Windows 10 in its laptops. This is very important information for the Chinese manufacturer and the coming months will show if Huawei's problems in the United States are coming to an end, or whether the US Department of Commerce still will continue to try to stop Huawei's presence in this market.
