POCO brand isn't more a mystery. Whole firm is controlled by Xiaomi, and firm nominated Jai Mani for head of POCO. Previously Jai was Lead Product Manager of Xiaomi's department in India. POCO probably will work in the same way as OnePlus with Oppo - despite separate projects, both companies will be financially dependent on each other. POCO published on its Twitter account that premiere of first device from new brand on market will be officially published on 22nd of August.
What's interesting, on one of Romanian websites we found announcement which publicates possible specification of upcoming smartphone which will be named POCO F1. If leaked photo of retail box is real, then POCO F1 will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, dual camera setup on back, 20mpx front camera, 4000mAh battery, liquid cooling system, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Other leak informs that dual camera setup will be created by 15mpx and 5mpx lenses, and phone will be available on market for around 489$. If this price is real, then phone looks like absolute bargain for this amount of money.
