Samsung has been one of the suppliers of iPhone parts for a long time. These companies have been cooperating for some time, and so far this cooperation was based on Samsung providing displays commissioned by Apple, which were later used in iPhones. It looks like this collaboration could be expanded and Samsung will be supplying even more parts to Apple.
The latest reports indicate that Apple will want to use Samsung's knowledge in the field of periscope development. If the journalistic information is confirmed, Samsung will supply periscope lenses to Apple, which will then probably be used in the iPhone 14 series of phones. However, it will happen only in 2022, and so far Apple is busy with the premiere of devices from the iPhone 12 series.
