Shortly after Cyberpunk 2077 was released, it was revealed that the game actually had a lot of flaws on the day of its release. The computer version of the game worked quite decently from the very beginning, but you could still find a lot of bugs in it, while the console versions had a lot of them. It got to the point that players were given a chance to return their money in exchange for returning their Cyberpunk 2077 game previously purchased. CD Projekt is aware that the game is full of bugs, so it issued a special apology to the players.

One of the founders of CD Projekt, Maciej Iwiński, issued an official apology to the players in the form of a video. As Iwiński himself says, the state of the game in the console versions is due to the fact that the game was written directly for desktop computers. However, he takes responsibility for releasing the game with many bugs while announcing the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 updates. Over the coming weeks, CD Projekt RED will release special updates marked 1.1 and 1.2, which are expected to introduce many changes to the game. Later in the year, firm will release special, free DLCs and a game update that will adapt the gameplay specifically to the capabilities of the new generation consoles.
