After the launch of Samsung's flagship smartphones, it is getting closer to presenting its new smartwatch. This will probably take place at a conference that will take place on 5th of August, where, in addition to the new smartwatch, the company is also going to present devices from the Galaxy Note 20 series and the new foldable phone Galaxy Fold 2. Despite the fact that there is still some time to the event, on the Internet there already appeared some renders revealing exactly how the new Samsung smartwatch named Galaxy Watch 3 will look like.
The source of the photos is the reliable journalist Evan Blass, who published the photos through the Patreon portal. The design of the device doesn't resemble a typical smartwatch, but rather refers to the appearance of standard watches. This is a big difference compared to devices made by Samsung's main competitor - Apple. In the photo you can see that the watch received a black strap, but certainly other color options will also appear in the Samsung's store. In terms of specification, it can be expected that the smartwatch will come in two sizes: 45mm (with a 1.4-inch display) and 41mm (with a 1.2-inch display). The device will pass IP68 waterproof certification and will have 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory.
