Almost all large companies have decided to make smaller or larger staff cuts. The dismissal of some employees has already been confirmed by companies such as Twitter, Meta, Amazon, Google and Microsoft, and now there are more reports in the media about dismissals at Disney and Yahoo.

In the case of Disney, about 7 000 employees are laid off due to the company's business transformation. Yahoo, on the other hand, plans to lay off as many as 20% of its employees, which will translate into the loss of about 1 700 employees. In the case of Yahoo, most of the people scheduled for dismissal are now to be part of the advertising department, and since this department in its current form was considered unprofitable, the company's bosses ultimately decided to cut the budget for salaries in this area.
