It's no secret that HTC has financial problems since a long time. At the beginning of the year, the company signed a cooperation agreement with Google, thanks to which HTC received a large amount of money, but in exchange had to share 2000 of its employees with Google. The condition of the company, however, does not improve and it led to next cuts of staff.
We received information that HTC will fire 1500 of its workers from Taiwan by September, what in terms of percentage amounts to about 22% of the entire company's staff. At this moment it looks that the only way to improve financial condition of firm are two big projects: Vive Pro VR headset and HTC U12+ smartphone.
