Mario is one of the most popular Nintendo's brands. Especially games from Mario Kart series are very popular, but the biggest problem with playing these games is that games produced by Nintendo are released only for consoles of this company. Nintendo wants to make them more popular by releasing special versions of their games dedicated for smartphones. After Super Mario Run it's time for Mario Kart in mobile version named Mario Kart Tour.
Nintendo hopes that Mario Kart will be downloaded not only by Nintendo fans, but also by people whose don't know a lot about this company. If Mario Kart for mobile phones will be done in a solid way, then it should be at least as popular as Super Mario Run which was one of the most popular apps in Google Play Store in 2017. Mario Kart Tour will be released in 2019.
