As we well know, there is quite a lot of competition on the video streaming market today. Netflix has been joined by proprietary HBO and Disney platforms, i.e. HBO Max and Disney+, which are gradually appearing in new countries. For this reason, Netflix is very keen to spice up its video library. Of course, it is mainly about original Netflix productions, which is associated with increased expenses. So it's no surprise that we hear rumors of price increases for some subscription plans.

The changes will apply to two plans: standard and premium subscription. With a standard subscription, it will now cost 14$ a month, compared to 13$ a month before. The premium subscription will also be more expensive, which will now cost 18$ per month (previously 16$). This time, the changes will not apply to people using the cheapest subscription costing 9$ a month. At the moment, the announced changes apply only to customers from the United States, but it is possible that in the future these changes will also appear in other countries.
