Qualcomm presented officially Quick Charge in 4.0 version already in 2016, and this technology is supported by all processors produced by Qualcomm in 2017 and 2018. If we will analyze look of most smartphones available on market then it won't be hard to deduce that producers mainly prefer to develop their own technology like Dash Charge (OnePlus) or USB-PD (Google Pixel) instead of using Quick Charge 4.0, and this situation was confirmed by the list which was released yesterday on Qualcomm's website.
This list shows all devices which support Quick Charge 4.0 technology. At this moment list has... one device - Razer Phone, which has Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. Definitely it's a bit shocking, but this situation should be changed in the nearest future, because it's rumored that some devices which will be released in 2018 should support Quick Charge in 4.0 version. Probably one of these smartphones will be one of the most awaited phones in 2018 - LG G7.
