Many experts from mobile market predicted that smartphones will not be well accepted on the market and they will quickly go into oblivion as other failed projects, including Nokia N-Gage. Ultimately, however, smartphones became a everyday use thing, and similar history may happen to foldable phones - at this moment many people criticize this idea, but it is worth giving companies a chance to present new devices, especially that this will happen soon. Samsung confirmed that works on foldable phone of their production are at an advanced stage, and premiere of this device will take place by the end of 2018.
DJ Koh, CEO of Samsung, confirmed this information during interview. New device will probably be presented around November, and if the leaks prove to be true, then smartphone will get the name Samsung Galaxy X. Samsung is facing a difficult task to maintain the right proportions during creating the phone - it's important to remember that device must still be a smartphone, not a kind of smaller version of tablet.
