Xiaomi is known from launching many different series, which makes it easy to get lost in the company's portfolio. If someone thinks that company has changed its policy, we must say that situation hasn't changed. This can be confirmed by launching of a completely new series - Mi Play. A few hours ago we received a confirmed specification and photo of the first phone from this series. Device will be named Xiaomi Mi Play.
Xiaomi Mi Play received a 5.84-inch screen with FullHD+ resolution, a tear-shaped notch (Mi Play is the first Xiaomi's phone with such a notch) and 19:9 aspect ratio, MediaTek Helio P35 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal memory, 8mpx front camera, dual camera setup on back with 12mpx and 2mpx lenses, 3000mAh battery and Android in 8.1 version. Phone doesn't seem to be too powerful, but it will certainly be an interesting option for people from China. Xiaomi plans to launch a special offer in this country - after purchasing the phone, firm will offer users a 10GB internet package every month, which will be available for free for 12 months. Phone will cost around 160$.
