Previous rumors revealed almost everything from specification of new Xiaomi's devices: Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus, but Xiaomi unlikely commented these rumors. Finally, some days ago Xiaomi made an event on which company officially presented their two new devices.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 in standard version will have 5,7-inch display with 1440x720 resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, 2GB or 3GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of internal storage plus microSD slot which will support cards up to 128GB, 12mpx main camera, 5mpx front camera and 3300mAh battery. Standard option in version with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage will cost around 120$, and option with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage will cost around 135$.
Upgraded version named Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus will have 5,99-inch display with FullHD resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB or 4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage plus microSD slot which supports cards up to 128GB, 12mpx main camera, 5mpx front camera and 4000mAh battery. Variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage will cost around 150$, while the most powerful option with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage will cost around 195$.
