It's well known the company has been working on a real-time news app, and it's now close to launching the software with the name Notify, according to a report today by The Awl. The app allows users to receive notifications from news organizations.
Notify may launch as soon as the end of this month, The Awl says.
The app will have to fight against Moments, a new feature in Twitter, which will give users tweets about news and sports.
