The ability to listen to podcasts in streaming applications is gaining importance year by year. Separate sections for podcasts have been separated, for example, in the case of Spotify and, recognizing the potential in this section of the market, it was announced a year ago that support for podcasts will also be provided to the YouTube Music service. After several months of waiting, this feature has been added to the app.
The new option will allow you to seamlessly switch between audio and video layers for podcasts. Importantly, podcast support will be available to users without a Premium subscription and it will be possible to listen to podcasts offline, as well as users will be able to play them in the background. It is worth mentioning, however, that a separate section for podcasts in YouTube Music has been introduced only for users from the United States at the moment.
