For several months, Google has been trying to promote its Wear OS system dedicated to smartwatches. Since rebranding of Android Wear to this system, Google has implemented many changes that are very useful and appreciated by users. This doesn't mean that the system doesn't have bugs, and it can be proved by reports from a few hours ago regarding the operation of Google Maps application on watches with this system.
Users report that after updating Google Maps to version 10.13.3 on some devices maps are displayed incorrectly - in some cases display of watch is empty, or in some cases application's interface isn't displayed in full extent. So far, this error has been noted on Huawei Watch 2, TicWatch Pro, TicWatch S2, Fossil Q Explorist HR, Skagen Falster 2 and smartwatches produced by Tag Heuer and Misfit. Clearing application data and reinstalling it doesn't help. The only solution that has been found so far is to manually install an older version of Google Maps by downloading the apk file from the Internet.
