Samsung and Apple are competing for the first place on the mobile market, but behind them there is a fierce battle for the third place on the same market. Companies like Xiaomi are rapidly developing, but currently main competitors for this status are Huawei and HMD (Nokia), so it's surprising that both companies signed an agreement between them.

Basing on this agreement Huawei will be able to use Nokia's patents including solutions which will help to conserve capacity of batteries. It's not the first contract like this signed by Nokia, because in the past HMD reached an agreement with Samsung, Apple or Xiaomi. It's speculated that Huawei in accordance with the contract will have to pay 100 million of euro per year.
