We informed that Samsung Galaxy S9+ isn't selling as great as it was planned by producer. Samsung planned that firm will sell around 350 million of all smartphones during whole year and vast majority of them will be Galaxy S9, but company will have big problems with reaching this aim. This information was confirmed by Counterpoint company which did research about state of mobile market in May.

In May the best-selling smartphone on market was iPhone 8 with 2.4% of global market share. For comparison, in April phone was located on 5th position in ranking. Previous leader, Samsung Galaxy S9+ in May was located on 2nd position. Most of devices from research was produced by Samsung and Apple, and the first phone produced by other company than two mentioned before is Xiaomi Redmi 5A located on 4th place with 2.2% of global market share mainly thanks to its sale in India and China.
