The phone's unlocking function by using face is slowly becoming a standard on phones. This function was implemented in smartphones a few years ago, but the form of face scanning in 2D developed at that time was not secure enough. The breakthrough came after the premiere of iPhone X, where FaceID allowed for scanning your face in 3D in order to unlock the device. This solution is slowly becoming more popular even than a fingerprint reader, so most of companies try to imitate Apple in this topic. However, not all of them do it perfectly, and proof for this may be a new Huawei's phone, which has some problems with securing the phone while unlocking.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro, which was presented a few days ago, on paper looks like a very solid device. A few journalists from Germany found significant error in the device unlocking with using our face. After adding the face of one of the journalists to system, they decided to try to unlock the phone by another person who had a similar beard and hair. It turned out that it was enough to unlock the phone, even though only one  face was entered into the system. Let's hope that this is not a hardware error, but only issue in software and Huawei will solve this problem after first update of system.
