For more than a year now, it has been possible to use the same WhatsApp account between one phone and several other devices. The key, however, is that these devices are not telephones. However, Meta has decided to make a change that will allow a user to log into the same WhatsApp account on several phones at the same time.
From now on, it will be possible to connect a WhatsApp account on up to five different phones. Each connection will be carried out separately, thanks to which it will be possible to encrypt messages separately on smartphones. The very method of linking your account to devices will be the same as it was previously the case with other devices. It is worth mentioning, however, that in the event of a long period without logging in to the device specified as the main WhatsApp account, it will be logged out of all devices to which it will be connected. These changes are already rolling out to users around the world, both on Android and iOS.
