As we have already written many times, because of the insufficiently developed infrastructure of mobile network operators we should treat 5G for now as a curiosity. However, it turns out that smartphone manufacturers quickly want to adapt most of their devices to this type of connection. The CEO of the Chinese company OnePlus Pete Lau a few weeks ago confirmed that the first phone of the company supporting 5G will be OnePlus 7 Pro in its new version. The latest Financial Times report indicates that this is not the end of the manufacturer's plans for phones supporting 5G.
This report indicates that by the end of this year OnePlus will launch another phone adapted to this type of network. It is going to be available all over the world, but Pete Lau hasn't revealed yet what phone it is. However, we know that by the end of the year two new phones from this company will appear on the market: OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro. There are many indications that the second smartphone from both mentioned above will support 5G. In addition, the phone would receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor, but for now it is only unconfirmed information. If information from the report will be confirmed, then another 5G-supporting phone manufactured by OnePlus will have its premiere in the fourth quarter of this year.
