In the last week we informed that Apple slows down their phones on purpose because they want to extend the life of batteries in their devices and it was the only discovered solution for problem with unexpected restarts of iPhones. Now two rivals of Apple - Samsung and LG - released official statements about this actions of Apple.
LG confirmed that they don't slow their phones on purpose, and they will never do it. Samsung said that their products don't need it because they are available to work some years at a satisfactory level for the user.
