In September of the previous year, Samsung introduced its sensor called Isocell HP1. It is a breakthrough lens that offers a record 200 megapixels. So far, however, such a solution has not been used in any smartphone. This may change in the near future, as Samsung has focused on promoting this solution through a special marketing campaign.
Samsung has created a special video in which it showed how a cat's photo was created by using the created 200MP lens. The photo taken was printed on a huge canvas measuring 28 x 22 meters. The whole action is to prove how accurate Samsung's new lens can be in capturing the details of individual objects in photos. So far, however, the company has not announced any phone in which the Isocell HP1 lens is to be placed and we will have to wait a little longer for such confirmations.
