More than a year ago, a special version of Samsung's flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, appeared on the market. This phone was quite successful and is still considered one of the best options available to buy on the market, hence most people related to the mobile market expected Samsung to create a successor to this phone. Samsung was rumored to be introducing the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE at the Unpacked event in August, but this has not happened. What's more, it turns out that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE may not be released at all.
According to the latest reports, Samsung is analysing the situation and it is possible that the S21 FE project will not appear on the market. Two factors are mentioned as reasons. The first is the limited availability of flagship processors due to problems with the production of top units. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE would use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and due to the insufficient amount of processor units, the release of a new smartphone may turn out to be a wrong idea. The second factor is the satisfactory sale of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. This smartphone also uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 unit and from Samsung's perspective, it may be a better idea to use the existing processors to produce units of foldable smartphone instead of releasing the S21 FE model to the market.
