Most of the users' attention during the Unpacked event organized by Samusng was drawn to folded smartphones: Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4. It is worth recalling, however, that the South Korean company presented its new two smartwatches from the Galaxy Watch5 series during the same event.

In practice, Samsung introduced three models of smartwatches. These are the Watch5 variants available in two sizes (40mm and 44mm) and the Watch 5Pro, which replaces the Classic variant and will be available in one size (45mm). All three models are made of sapphire glass, which guarantees 60% more scratch resistance than previous models. In addition, all 3 smartwatches have the Always On Display mode. Importantly, Samsung decided to remove the physical, rotating ring, which in the case of new watches will now be available in a digital version. All three watches received 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and an Exynos W920 processor. In terms of the battery, Samsung used a 284mAh unit for the 40mm variant, 410mAh for the 44mm smartwatch, and the Pro option will run on a 590mAh battery.
