Samsung has been working on its new foldable phone for a long time. At that time, the company's directors decided that all foldable phones will now create a new series of devices, which will be called Galaxy Z. The name itself obviously is not that much important. The specification of the newly presented new Samsung foldable phone called Galaxy Z Fold 2 looks much more interesting.

The main screen has been expanded compared to the previous Samsung foldable phone, because this time it is a 7.6-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2208x1768px and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz. In addition, of course, Fold 2 received an external screen with a diagonal of 6.2 inches and a resolution of 2260x816px, which supports a refresh rate of 60Hz. There has also been an improvement in the hinges in the phone, which now allow the phone to be unfolded also partially, and the screen will remain in this position. Samsung has used a mechanism to hold the screen in a specific position when it is set at an angle between 75 and 115 degrees. In addition, Fold 2 received a triple main camera placed on a side without any displays. It consists of three 12mpx lenses. The front camera is placed in a special, round cutout and it consists of two 10MPx lenses - one of them is placed on the main, 7.6-inch screen, and the other one is placed on a smaller, external screen. The phone received a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor, 12GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal memory. The whole device will run on a 4500mAh battery. Of course, the phone also supports 5G connectivity.

We will have to pay at least 1999$ for new Samsung's phone (in a variant with 256GB of internal memory - this variant will appear on all markets, and in addition, China will receive an option with 512GB of internal memory, but price of this option is currently unknown).
